Jersey Gardens, New Jersey’s largest outlet mall, will celebrate its 10-year anniversary October 16 through October 25 with mall-wide events and promotions. Jersey Gardens opened on October 21, 1999. “We are excited to celebrate this milestone by offering our shoppers ten days of rewards for ten great years of shopping,” said Marketing Director Crystal Fresco.
One $1,000 shopping spree will be given away each day from Friday, October 16 through Sunday, October 25. Shoppers can enter to win at each mall entrance.
Friday, October 16 - Sunday, October 18
The celebration kicks off on October 16 with the annual Art in the Gardens program. Art in the Gardens, now in its 10th year, is a celebration of national Arts and Humanities Month. Local performers will showcase their talents on the Center Court stage. The complete line-up is available at www.jerseygardens.com. Art in the Gardens is a joint partnership between the Union County Division of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, the City of Elizabeth and Jersey Gardens.
Tuesday, October 20
Jersey Gardens will host a medal ceremony for New Jersey veterans in conjunction with the New Jersey Veterans Affairs Administration. The ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. in Center Court. The Veterans Administration will also staff an informational table in the mall Tuesday, October 20 through Thursday, October 22.
Friday, October 23
New Jersey Blood Services will hold a blood drive. Shoppers and employees can help save lives by donating blood in Center Court from 2:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday, October 10 – Sunday, October 25
Jersey Gardens will be holding a Beautiful Baby Contest on behalf of the March of Dimes from October Saturday, October 10 through Saturday, October 24. Shoppers can cast their votes and support the March of Dimes with their donations. The entries will be on display by the Concierge Desk. Winners will be announced at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 25 in Center Court. Brad Blanks from WPLJ 95.5 FM will be on hand to announce the winners!
